Shannon to sing at Clonabreany House
Well known Meath singer Deirdre Gilsenan, who is better known by her stage name Deirdre Shannon, will play 'a Christmas special' gig in Clonabreany House near Kells on Sunday, 6pm.
The accomplished singer who has had a distinguished career since turning professional in 1996 will be accompanied by harp and piano player Aileen Deery from Cavan.
Shannon toured many parts of the world with Michael Flatley as part of the Lord of the Dance tour.
She has performed with artists such as Anuna, the Celtic Tenors, Air Supply and Celtic Woman. She has also worked with famous singers such as Dionne Warwick. In 2006 Deirdre Shannon released her own album of the same name.
