Coaching course at Trim Celtic

Former Trim Celtic manager Brian McCreary is one of the organisers behind the Premier Skills Level 1 course that will be held at Tully Park, Trim this Saturday, 10.15 to 4.30. McCreary will also be one of those taking part in the course and he will be joined by other students. "With the assistance of Trim Celtic we agreed as a club to be the first club in the country to run level one of this newly launched coaching innovation," he said. The course will be conducted by Pat Malone the holder of a UEFA A licence. Malone also had spells as the Academy Manager and Head of Football Development at Home Farm FC as well as Shelbourne and Bohemians. "One of the two founding members of Premier Skills, either John Cartwright or Roger Wilkinson, will also be attending and overseeing the course," added McCreary. "All Participants will receive Level 1 certificate on the day." Premier Skills is aimed at furthering the education of coaches as well as as promoting player development. The cost is €40.
