Emerald Park unveils new 'Swing'o'Saurus' attraction

Emerald Park is preparing to transport guests back millions of years this summer as the theme park and zoo officially announces that its new re-themed land, ‘Lost Valley: Land of Dinosaurs’, will officially open to the public on Saturday, 6th June.

Backed by a €3 million investment, the immersive prehistoric world will introduce visitors to a brand new dinosaur adventure packed with unforgettable family fun, larger-than-life dino favourites, and exciting entertainment.

As part of the announcement, Emerald Park has also officially unveiled the name of its brand-new family ride, Swing‘o’Saurus.

At the centre of the new land is Swing‘o’Saurus, Emerald Park’s brand-new dinosaur-themed wild swing attraction is being revealed publicly for the very first time.

Standing 12 metres tall, the new family ride features 16 seats arranged across a unique double-sided gondola, allowing guests to soar, swing, and glide through the prehistoric landscape in a fun-filled adventure suitable for explorers of all ages.

The new themed area will transform an existing section of the park into an immersive dinosaur world. Building on the popularity of the much-loved Dino Dash coaster, ‘Lost Valley: Land of Dinosaurs’ will combine exciting attractions with dramatic theming, roaring soundscapes and more!

Guests can expect encounters with an incredible range of dinosaur figures measuring up to six metres in length, including towering T-Rexes, swift Velociraptors, and adorable baby Triceratops. J

ust in time for the summer holidays, daily scheduled Dino Meet & Greet experiences will take place from late June allowing visitors to come face-to-face with the prehistoric creatures, creating unforgettable moments for families and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.

The atmosphere throughout the land has been carefully designed to immerse guests in the prehistoric adventure, with dinosaur-themed food offerings, detailed décor, and exciting theming helping to bring the ‘Lost Valley: Land of Dinosaurs’ to life.
