Vinny Walsh’s fisted point in the sixth minute of injury time salvaged a draw for Moynalvey in their FL Div 1 clash with St Peter’s. The visitors were quick out of the blocks and Walsh’s goal handed them an early advantage. After the restart Moynalvey scored 1-3 on the spin but St Peter’s who were bolstered by the introduction of Ronan Jones reeled in the away side and led by one with seven minutes remaining. Walsh provided the crucial score and the spoils were shared.

Wolfe Tones and in particular Thomas O’Reilly took advantage of a strong breeze in the first-half to rack up a half-time cushion of six points which in the end proved crucial to their FL Div 1 victory over Trim. Kyle Moran and Fiachra Ward were both involved in the build-up to Reilly’s well-worked goal just before the break. After the resumption the hosts extended their lead to 10 before Trim rallied with the closing eight points to set up an exciting finish.

St Michael’s restricted hosts Donaghmore/Ashbourne to just three points in the second-half as they sealed victory in the FL Div 3. Shane McDonnell, who finished with a fine tally of 1-12, bagged 1-3 early on before Cathal Walsh raised St Michael’s second green flag. Jack Doran’s goal in the 25th minute handed the home side a slender advantage at the break. Boosted by a Paddy Fitzsimons major, St Michael’s turned the screw after the restart and in the end pulled away from their opponents.

Stafford found the net early on before Matthew Vaughan scored Kilmainhamwood’s second goal. The hosts weathered a third-quarter purple patch from St Mary’s and closed out the contest well.

Cortown's winless FL Div 5 run extended to four games, going down to the narrowest of margins to Duleek/Bellewstown on Sunday morning. Despite opening the scoring Cortown trailed 0-1 to 1-7 at the break, but they never gave up and goals from Kevin Muldoon and Jake Coyne, after Duleek-Bellewstown had a man sent-off, closed the gap to three. Duleek-Bellewstown settled again, but a third goal from Hugh Stanton ensured a nervous finish before Duleek-Bellewstown held on for a third win.

Navan O’Mahonys and Oldcastle shared the spoils in the FL Div 4. The contest got off to a flying start and there were two goals inside the first 90 seconds. Oldcastle struck first before Sophie Brady responded for the visitors. Oldcastle led by two at the interval and extended their advantage to six after the restart.

Navan O’Mahonys fought their way back into the contest with goals from Chloe Duffy and Cara Ratty. They salvaged a share of the spoils with a late point courtesy of Alison O’Toole.

Rossin Rovers continued their fine start to NEFL Div 3 with an away victory over Kigscourt Harps. After just six minutes, a lovely in-swinger from Dave Culligan was met by a towering header at the back post from Sean Murray which handed Rovers an early lead. Murray doubled his tally and Rovers advantage soon after when he rose highest again to meet a delivery from Reid. The home side halved the deficit in the second-half with a well-struck goal from the edge of the box, but late on Dylan Maguire set up Eoin Brennan for the insurance goal.
