'Who's coming home?... Delvin drama group stage play where 'sadness and joy sit side by side, holding hands'

The Selection Box Comedy and Drama Group is gearing up to stage its production of the Pat Farrell play 'Wait for Me To Come Home' this weekend.

Gaffney's Drama Lounge in Delvin will be the venue for what director Mick Roban describes as "a delight of a play with a heart that knows how to linger.

"It's a beautiful piece, with deeply heartfelt performances that weave memories of lost love — where sadness and joy sit side by side, holding hands," says Mick, himself a renowned playwright and director on the Irish amateur drama circuit.

"Performed with tenderness and truth by Pat Farrell and Patricia Ronayne, this is theatre that stays with you long after the lights fade."

Mick Roban is developing Gaffney’s Drama Lounge as a creative space and all groups are welcome to showcase their works "in this lovely intimate space."
