Chalk Talk: Cherished SNA retires after 25 years of service
St Oliver Plunkett’s National School is bidding farewell to one of its most cherished Special Needs Assistants, Pauline Andrews, who will retire at the end of this month.
Pauline has dedicated over 25 years to supporting students, having spent 20 years at Beaufort College, Navan, before joining St. Oliver’s in 2019.
Known for her warm smile and infectious sense of fun, Pauline never misses a chance to join in the celebrations, whether it’s Halloween, Book Day, Christmas or St Patrick’s Day. Reflecting on her retirement, Pauline shares that it comes with mixed emotions.
“I absolutely love my work and have never seen it as a job,” she says. “But I am looking forward to spending more time with my husband Paddy.”
Pauline will be fondly remembered by students and colleagues alike.
