Status Yellow Low Temperature and Ice warning for Meath

A Status Yellow - Low Temperature/Ice warning for Co Meath will kick in tomorrow (Saturday) at 6pm until 11am on Sunday with temperatures expected to plunge to between -2 to -4 degrees.

The weather across Ireland will turn colder, with the relatively milder temperatures of recent days dropping to below zero.

The Status Yellow alert has also been issued for all of Munster, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Wicklow.

Met Éireann is forecasting sharp or severe frost and icy stretches with hazardous travel conditions expected.

A Status Yellow Snow-Ice warning for Donegal comes into effect in Donegal this evening (8pm) with wintry showers with some snow accumulations possible.
