Weather conditions interrupt first night of Púca Festival

The first day of four day Púca Festival kicked off yesterday on Thursday 30th October with a jam packed evening of live acts, attractions and workshops.

Due to adverse weather conditions, four different attractions were unfortunately cancelled.

Amongst those cancelled were the Athboy Markets, the 4pm Sorcas Na Samhna Show and the 6:30pm Pyro Collective Show.

The Harvest Market in Trim also closed early at 5pm with the promise of the market operating at it's usual hours today.

The schedule for the festival is set to go ahead today as normal.

If you want to skip the weather but still chime in on the fun, a live stream of the Lighting of the Samhain Fire will take place this evening at 5:30pm.
