Entrepreneurs honoured for championing circular living
Two Meath champions of circular living were honoured at the Circular.ie Full Circle Awards held in the Aviva Stadium last week.
Michelle Power, founder of Wren and Mabel, whose ethos is to protect the environment with natural fabrics and waste reduction, was a runner-up in two categories the Circular Living Advocate category, honouring individuals who live by and promote zero-waste and low-impact lifestyles, and the Reuse and Repair Hero category, celebrating individuals who regularly repair, repurpose, or extend the life of items.
A graduate of the Grafton Academy of Fashion Design and founder of Wren and Mabel, Michelle who is based in Kilberry, runs classes in dressmaking and fashion repair. She educates about the dangers of fast fashion and empowers communities with skills to repair clothes.

Meanwhile, artist Robyn Brown-Burke of Roots of Ogham was a runner-up in the Creative Circular Artist category, honouring those who transform waste materials into art, furniture, décor, or other creative expressions through upcycling.

Through her practice, she advocates for sustainable design, mindful material use, and storytelling through craft, inspiring lasting connections to the objects and spaces we inhabit.
This is the first year of the Full Circle Awards, created by Circular.ie to spotlight people and projects that demonstrate what circular living looks like, and celebrate the big impact that individuals and communities throughout Ireland, including in Meath, are creating by making circular living part of their everyday lives in practical ways.
