BOWLING
ILB Div 1: Meath's next match is on Saturday 20th September away to Greystones and the final encounter away to CYM on 27th September.
Vets Div 1: Meath Vets travelled to Clontarf for their final match of the season and were happy with a 2-2 draw, (28-28 shots). Rink 1- PJ Dolan, F Geraghty, J Fitzsimons, M Fitzsimons. Rink 2 - M McBride, R Farrelly, R Byrne, S Edwards. Meath finished the season in 4th position.
Vets Div 4: Meath travelled away to Westmanstown and lost 0-4 (26-35 shots). Rink 1 - E Carry, D Burke, L Daly, J Murphy. Rink 2 - L Mackintosh, R Lyness, B Wallace, A Boyle. Meath finished the season in sixth position.
The Meath Club Championship finals were played last weekend and the results were mixed pairs - Michael McBride/Bob Wallace beat Ricky Byrne/Andy Boyle; men's championships - Johnny Dixon beat Shay Edwards; mixed singles - PJ Dolan beat Larry Daly.
Monday mornings - Coaching for new members/improvers from 11am.
Summer practice continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5pm.

CYCLING
Bohermeen CC:Adult evening spins (18+) on Tuesdays, 6.45pm from Bohermeen Community Centre. Youth spins (9+) will continue on Thursdays, at 7pm, from Bohermeen Community Centre. European Week of Sport takes place on 23rd-30th September. The week is for everyone, regardless of age, ability, background or fitness level. The aim is to inspire everyone to #BeActive on a regular basis and create opportunities in peoples’ everyday lives to exercise more. Pre-registration is required as places are limited! Social Running (0-3k & 3-5k)
Meath LSP are once again delighted to partner with local athletic clubs to roll out of the 0-3k & 3-5k programmes in 2025. From this September the social running programmes will be available in Navan, Trim, Tara & Kells! The 0-3k (Walk to Jog) is suitable for complete beginners and supports those to go from walking to jogging with relative ease. The structured programme is available for anyone who wants to increase their daily activity and is suitable for people of all ages (18+) and fitness levels. The 3-5k Jog to Run is ideal for those who would like to improve running fitness and increase their pace & distance. This programme suits those who have already completed a 0-3k or have previous running experience. All coaching sessions are delivered by qualified club coaches who are experienced runners and are on hand to guide and support everyone taking part.
