Rising Irish racing star Danny Dempsey from Dunboyne has been crowned the 2025 Motorsport Ireland Cadet Champion, securing the title with one round still remaining in the championship.

From the opening race weekend, Dempsey established himself as one of the drivers to beat, combining raw pace with consistency to dominate the season. With multiple wins and podium finishes, the young Meath driver has built an uncatchable points advantage – underlining his talent and determination on track.

“This is a dream come true,” said Dempsey. “Winning the Motorsport Ireland Cadet Championship means a lot to me and my family. None of this would be possible without the support of my team and sponsors, who have been with me every step of the way.”

The final round of the Motorsport Ireland National Championship takes place this weekend in Kiltorcan Raceway in Kilkenny where Danny will collect his Championship winning prize, a ticket to the World Finals that will take place in Valencia this October competing against some of the best drivers in the world.
