Community First Aid training taking place in Blackwater Park

Navan Civil Defense will be providing Community First Aid and Defibrillator training on 6th September in Blackwater Park.

All are welcome to join and learn how to use first aid equipment such as defibrillators installed in local areas and sports clubs. Training is to take place from 10:30am to 12pm.

They said the training afternoon “will help build your confidence and offer some broader first aid skills too.”

It was scheduled to facilitate any park runners that are part of Navan Parkrun who would like to join. The Parkrun group are encouraging as many as possible to attend “to help build confidence in the use of defibrillators and also offer some broader first aid skills.”

Cllr. Emer Tóibín said: “This training, kindly provided by Navan Civil Defence, will help build that confidence and offer some broader first aid skills too.”
