He's fond of the odd slice... Rock legend Alice Cooper picks up silver plated golf-themed toast rack at Kells auction
Rock Legend Alice Cooper did a bit of shopping in Kells recently!
The 'Schools Out for Summer' singer bought a silver plated golfing themed toast rack in an online auction by Matthews Auctioneers.
Auctioneer Damien Matthews says the internet and online auctions have made the word a much smaller place. "It's a smaller world now in auctioneering with the advent of the Internet - smaller regional firms such as ours in Kells having the same international reach, if not sometimes greater, as the bigger outfits."
Damien was delighted that Alice made a successful bid on the toast rack.
"He's a bit of a golf nut, and as it turns out a very nice and funny guy," he said.
A self confessed “golf addict”, Alice plays six days a week, manages a four handicap, and plays in celebrity golf tournaments and judging by his new purchase, doesn’t mind the odd slice.
