Rose Bud Niamh off to Tralee
Eight-year-old Niamh Kirwan, a proud Maynooth native, is preparing for an unforgettable experience as she prepares to be a Rose Bud representing County Meath in the 2025 Rose of Tralee Festival.
Niamh’s family roots span across Ireland her mum is from Tralee, Co Kerry, while her dad is from Dunboyne, Co Meath.
A student at Presentation Girls’ School in Maynooth, Niamh is entering Third Class and is already an active member of her community, playing for both Maynooth Town Football Club and Maynooth GAA.
The Rose Bud programme gives young girls the chance to be part of the iconic Rose of Tralee experience, and with her strong links to Kerry, Meath and Kildare, Niamh is perfectly placed to embrace the occasion.
Communities across all three counties will be watching proudly as Niamh joins the celebrations this weekend.
