Public consultation open for Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025-2030
Meath County Council are encouraging the public to participate in a public consultation to have their say on the Draft Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025-2030.
They are at an advanced stage in the preparation of the plan and a draft has been produced by the local authority with the support of the Biodiversity Working Group of the Meath Heritage Forum.
The fourth National Biodiversity Action Plan requires all local authorities to have Local Authority Biodiversity Action Plans in place by the end of 2026.

The online survey can be accessed by visiting the Meath County Council Consult Website here
An online information session is taking place tomorrow at 7pm and anyone interested can register by emailing biodiversity@meathoco.ie.
