Spa and outdoor thermal area plan for Trim Castle Hotel
A new spa with outdoor thermal area is being proposed for the Trim Castle Hotel.
Fayways Limited T/A Trim Castle Hotel recently lodged a planning application with Meath County Council for alterations and an extension to the third floor to the hotel to provide for a new spa and outdoor thermal area.
The proposed development would see the removal of two bedrooms at 3rd floor level to provide a spa/thermal area including elevational alterations as necessary.
Also part of the plans is the provision of a spa reception area, three changing rooms and lockers, a guest WC, an accessible WC, and a rasul (heat experience) with accompanying shower in the anti-chamber.
The plans also include an extension of the spa/thermal facilities out to the rooftop terrace at the same level to the east of the existing hotel to provide an outdoor thermal experience with a sauna, plant room, hydrotherapy pool, hot tubs, cold plunge pool, two showers, and four seaweed baths.
