Loughcrew Gardens, Oldcastle, A82 X4Y1, will be brimming with magic as the Loughcrew Fairy Festival returns on 19th and 20th July, from 12pm to 6pm daily. Nestled among rolling green hills and ancient trees, this annual event invites families into a world of wonder hosted by owner Emily Naper, whose passion brings Loughcrew’s historic charm to life.

Children can meet real-life fairies, unicorns, and mermaids, explore the fairy trail, craft magical wands, and enjoy puppet shows, aerial dancers, stilt walkers, and circus performers. From a fairy disco to storytelling and a wishing tree, there’s enchantment at every turn. Adults can unwind with artisan food stalls, shop handmade goods, and stroll through Ireland’s most scenic heritage gardens. With wheelchair access, ample parking, and dog-friendly areas, Loughcrew offers magic for all ages.
