Meath County Council to host Built Heritage information evening
Meath County Council will host a Built Heritage information evening in September and is currently accepting expressions of interest for this event until Friday, 11th July, at 5pm.
This event will offer guidance on built heritage topics such as legislation, maintenance, grants, and conservation practices for protected structures, vernacular structures and architectural conservation areas. The seminar is free of charge but booking is essential as spaces are limited.
The evening will include a Q&A session with Meath County Council Conservation Officer, Robert Miles, along with invited previous grant recipients.
Meath County Council will also provide informational booklets tailored to various protected structures, including thatched roofs, ruins, stone walls, and traditional farm buildings. There will also be information on Architectural Conservation Areas in Meath.
Those interested in attending should complete the Expression of Interest Form to register. A formal invitation with the date and time for the event in September will then follow. https://forms.office.com/e/y87pDZxSth
