Road closed after lorry overturns on N52
The N52 is closed from Cassidy's Cross to Stahalmog, Carlanstown after a lorry overturned on the road at Clooney, Castletown, this morning.
Diversions are in place and it is understood a crane is at the site to lift the articulated lorry.
Gardai and fire service crews are in attendance.
It is understood the driver of the lorry received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
It is the second lorry to overturn on the N52 this week. On Monday at around noon, an articulated timber lorry overturned at Gravelstown, Carlanstown, resulting in the road being closed for several hours. No injuries were reported.
