Eight Meath exhibitors announced for Bord Bia Bloom

Bord Bia Bloom has announced that eight exhibitors from Meath across gardening, food and drink will be joining this year’s exciting event line-up.

With just three weeks to go until the festival of flowers, food and fun returns to its home in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, organisers are encouraging visitors to plan their visit and enjoy a great day out this summer.

The festival expects to welcome over 100,000 visitors across its 70-acre site, which will play host to 21 spectacular new show gardens at the centre of the experience.

In the Nursery Village, Elmgrove Flower Farm from Gormanston will be exhibiting for the first time at the festival. Returning nursery exhibitors that will be showcasing breathtaking plants in the Nursery Village are Riverlane Nursery from Trim, and Slane-based Boyne Garden Centre & nursery.

Visitors to Bloom can meet 100+ of Ireland’s top food and craft drink producers at the Food Village and Bloom Inn, including five Meath businesses.

These include Finnegan's Farm, award-winning potato specialists from Navan and The Studio Coffee Roasters, from Bettystown, who will be bringing its newly launched cold brew flavours to the festival.

Lir Chocolates, who has been creating delicious hand-finished chocolates for over 35 years from its Navan facility will also be among the exhibitors as well as Clarke’s Fresh Fruit, who will be sampling newly in-season strawberries fresh from its Stamullen farm.

McCormack Family Farms, from Dunsany, Ireland's leading grower of salad leaves and leafy vegetables will be showcasing its new Snack Lettuce at the festival.

Attendees can also enjoy delicious food from plenty of food trucks, the BBQ Bliss area or Bloom’s four on-site restaurants: The Garden View Restaurant, Bistro Bloom, Country Crest Restaurant and The Seafood Terrace. New for this year is ‘A Taste of Bloom, curated by Neven’ a three-course dining experience celebrating quality Irish produce designed exclusively by chef Neven Maguire for Bloom.

Speaking today, Laura Douglas, Head of Bloom and Brand Partnerships, Bord Bia said, “Bloom is a distinctive festival that combines gardening, culinary excellence, sustainable living, and family fun in picturesque natural settings.
