Credit Union supporting charities and groups in Trim

Drogheda Credit Union Trim Branch has been working to support local projects and organisations at the heart of the community in Trim for many years through its Community Donation programme and committee.

The Community Committee members act as advocates for Trim, advising on donations for local groups and attending events representing the Credit Union on occasion. Drogheda Credit Union passionately supports Trim's organisations and charities, ensuring vital projects and services thrive for the benefit of everyone.

The Community Donation programme is an important asset to community groups within the local area. Some of the most recent donations were received by Scoil Mhuire Enterprise Week, Meath Women’s Refuge and Meath River Rescue. The Credit Union has also recently started to work with organisations including Trim Autism Friendly Town and Trim Sustainable Community Project.

“On behalf of the Trim Branch of Drogheda Credit Union, I would like to thank all the volunteers and committee members who take part in these local groups for the greater benefit of our community. I look forward to working with you over the coming year” said Suzanne Gilleece, branch manager, Trim Branch

The Community Donation Committee is managed by Geraldine Gilsenan, Suzanne Gilleece, Colin Stobie, Jim Bird, Charlie Bloomer and Rebekah Butterly.

They meet bi-monthly and are looking for volunteers to join the community committee. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering with the Trim Branch of Drogheda Credit Union, please contact Suzanne Gilleece on 0419838496 or email info@droghedacu.ie
