Connor celebrates Celtic Challenge success with Wolfhounds

Navan RFC's Alex Connor was also part of the Wolfhounds squad that claimed the Celtic Challenge title in Edinburgh on Saturday.

The Wolfhounds produced a strong performance to defeat the Clovers 50–29, securing the trophy in impressive fashion and completing a successful campaign.

Connor’s involvement in the squad marks another significant milestone in what has been an outstanding season.

She has established herself as a key figure in Navan’s first team, delivering consistently strong performances in Leinster Div 1, which earned her a debut with the Wolfhounds in last month’s Celtic Challenge.

The Navan player now turns her attention to the international stage, having recently been selected alongside club team-mate Rosie Searle in the Ireland Women’s u-21 squad for the inaugural Women’s Six Nations series at that level, which gets underway next month.

Connor’s continued progress is a source of great pride for Navan RFC and further highlights the strength of the club’s player development pathway.
