Letters to the Editor: Not all heroes wear capes, some wear hoodies

Dear Sir - In days of old, knights in shining armour used to rescue damsels in distress, Not so today, (Monday 9th February) a grandad in distress asked a lady in a brown hoodie for directions to the NCT centre in Kells. She tried to give me directions but saw that I was not following them so she just said "Follow me "and got back into her Suzuki Swift and drove all the way up to the NCT centre, I was speechless and could only say that she was a treasure.

The rain stopped and my 13-year old car passed the test.

Many thanks to my treasure, I will never forget your kindness.
