One change for Valentine's date with Louth

Meath manager Robbie Brennan has named his team to face Louth in Saturday's Valentine's night NFL Div 2 clash at Croke Park with James Conlon listed to start at full-forward and Cian McBride returning to a place on the bench.

Conlon was also named to start the round two victory over Cavan, but dropped out with McBride coming in at midfield. The St Colmcille's man did make a significant impact as a half-time replacement for Conor Duke scoring three points.

McBride was replaced in the 59th minute of the dramatic win over Cavan having been ill at half-time, but it would not be a surprise if the St Ultan's clubman was a late change to the team to face Louth.

Meath have lost to Louth in their last three meetings, but in this week's preview to the big game Fergal Lynch believes Meath can finally break that hoodoo.

The sports editor and Tom Gannon also discussed Meath's prospects on this week's sports podcast, Talk a Good Game.
