One Royal change ahead of Breffni trip
James Conlon's bustling, enterprising cameo against Derry has earned his a starting spot on the Meath team for Sunday's NFL Div 2 round two clash with Cavan in Breffni Park.
Conlon is the only change to the side that started that Croke Park win with manager Robbie Brennan opting to stick with the majority of the side that opened the campaign with that impressive victory in Croke Park.
The St Colmcille's man comes in for Adam O'Neill who drops to the bench, while Ruairi Kinsella retains his place having come in as a late replacement for the injured Cathal Hickey for the Derry game.
Meath have not beaten Cavan in Breffni Park since 1965, but that statistic is slightly misleading with the sides only meeting there four times since and Meath picked up a point in the 0-11 each draw there in their last meeting.
The Meath team for Sunday's game v Cavan - Sean Brennan; Seamus Lavin, Sean Rafferty, Brian O'Halloran; Donal Keogan, Sean Coffey, Ciaran Caulfield; Bryan Menton, Jack Flynn; Conor Duke, Ruairi Kinsella, Mathew Costello; Jordan Morris, James Conlon, Eoghan Frayne.
