Navan Town Cosmos win new football kit in Circle K FAI competition
Circle K, Ireland’s leading forecourt and convenience retailer, and title sponsor of the FAI Club Mark Programme, have announced Navan Town Cosmos FC as the third winner of their monthly FAI Clubs competition, with Tullamore Town FC and St Ita’s FC coming second and third respectively, each winning €1,500 worth of kit for their clubs.
The competition runs until March and will give away a total of €30,000 worth of kit and €30,000 in cash as well as a VIP training experience with players from the Republic of Ireland Senior teams.
A weekly cash prize of €500 is awarded to a Circle K Extra member with the most points as a thank you for their support.
This is the latest grassroots football initiative from Circle K, linked to the FAI Club Mark Programme that rewards clubs that demonstrate excellence in governance, management, and initiatives to grow grassroots football. Since the start of the partnership Circle K has invested over €130,000 in clubs across Ireland.
The campaign will culminate with the Grand Finale in March where all clubs who enter will be considered for the top prizes, so Circle K is encouraging football clubs across the Republic of Ireland to get involved, log their points and compete.
The prizes for the finale include:
• One club will win a grand prize of €10,000.
• Four additional clubs will win a €5,000 prize.
• One club will win a VIP Training Experience with the Men’s national team.
• 5 clubs will win 3x sets of kit each for their team’s clubs
Ciara Foxton, Managing Director of Circle K Ireland said: “Congratulations to Navan Town Cosmos FC, the winners of Circle K’s FAI Clubs competition in December. The club’s members have really engaged with the competition, leading to the Meath club ending 2025 at the top of the leaderboard.
“The level of engagement we have seen from customers is evidence of the incredible passion for grassroots football in Ireland. With just a few months to go before our Grand Finale in March I’d encourage Circle K Extra members to get involved on behalf of their club if they haven’t done so already.”
