Tributes following death of Navan boutique owner

Breda Lyons was popular proprietor of fashion store

The town of Navan and her customers from across the county and region are mourning the sudden death of Breda Lyons, proprietor of Breda's Boutique, Navan.

She died suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on Monday.

Formerly Breda McMahon of Farganstown, she lived at Tankardstown, Kells Road, Navan, and was predeceased by her husband, Noel; parents, Joe and Bridget; brother, John; and sister, Catherine.

Breda is survived by family, John, Clodagh, Brian and Kieran; grandchildren, SarahJane, Shannon, Aoibhinn, Shane, Laura, Daniel, Noel, Theia, Dillon, Luke and Harry; brother Hugh, sisters Margaret and Josie, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and devoted work colleagues.

Breda is reposing at St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on St Stephen’s Day (26th December) from 3pm with removal at 5.45pm arriving to St Mary’s Church, Navan for Evening Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning (27th December) at 11am. Removal afterwards to Sweeney's Funeral Home Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (F28 KH99) for reposing on Monday (29th December) from 12pm to 1pm. Burial in Killeen Cemetery, Louisburgh, Co Mayo.
