Boliden celebrates 100th anniversary

Employees at Boliden Tara Mines recently gathered at the Newgrange Hotel to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Boliden Group, as well as marking one year since production resumed at Tara.

The event brought employees together to reflect on their shared history, recognise those who shaped the journey, and highlight the teamwork and commitment that continue to define the operation.

Guests were welcomed by Tara Mines General Manager Michelle Bennett and colleagues from Boliden Group HQ.

The celebration also featured a special anniversary video and a performance by comedian Colm O’Regan, who brought humour and energy to the night. It was a fantastic occasion filled with pride, and appreciation for the people of Tara.
