Gardai renew appeal for witnesses to Gormanston crash tragedy
Gardaí continue to investigate the fatal three-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the R132 at Gormanston and claimed the lives of two men with a woman and girl critically injured.
The male driver of the lorry, Wesley O'Reilly and the male driver of the bus Paul Conway were pronounced deceased at the scene. Both men were laid to rest last weekend.
The female driver of the car (aged in her 40’s) and her female passenger (aged in her teens) both remain in a serious condition in hospital.
Gardaí are renewing their appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
In particular, any persons who were travelling on the bus at the time of the collision and have not yet spoken to Gardaí are asked to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R132, at Gormanston, Co. Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Monday 24th November 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

The funeral details for the deceased men are as follows:
Mr Conway will repose in his own home, 46 Tallansfield Manor (Eircode A91 AK24) on Thursday and Friday from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
House strictly private outside of these hours.
Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of Ss. Peter and Paul's, Tallanstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 am.
Burial afterwards in St. Oliver Plunkett's Cemetery, Tallanstown.
Mr O'Reilly will repose at his home on Sunday evening (30th Nov) from 3pm to 5pm.
House private outside of these times.
Funeral mass on Monday morning at 10am in St Maur's Church, Rush followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery.
