Judge Eirinn McKiernan repeated her comments that what had been done to a young couple couldn’t be accepted when she directed that a 53 year-old IT worker have no contact with them or not to contact Meath County Council.
The couple had been assaulted by a laser beam being shone into their home by Gillian Kennedy , Marshallstown, Kilmessan, who also had been charged with assaulting two Gardai who went to investigate the incident on 29th August last year.
Evidence in the case was heard on 25th September last at Trim District Court which was told there was a background dispute regarding planning and boundaries to the events involving the defendant and her neighbours.
Miss Kennedy denied the charges but was convicted on all four counts of assault. She apologized to all the victims, and Judge McKiernan put the case back for a probation report to 13th November.
