Navan Men’s Shed Quiz Night

Navan and District Men’s Shed is holding a fund raising quiz night for their new premises tonight (Friday 21st November) in O'Mahony's GAA Hall.

The Smartphone Trivia Quiz starts at 8pm and is open to tables of up to four members. The entry fee is €40 per table. There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.

Chairperson, Ollie Carroll appealed for support. “We are appealing for support for our quiz night, and to businesses in the town to make donations to help us provide a permanent home for our activities. Every donation will be gratefully appreciated,” he said. “We need a permanent home, as we currenty operate out of an old container."

Navan Men's Shed is a very inclusive environment catering for men from all walks of life, ages and abilities.

The Shed movement is known for its very positive impact on mental health and the Navan Shed is no exception, providing a safe and inclusive group where men can talk and work on interests and hobbies they enjoy.

The Navan Shed is always looking for new volunteers to join the group and invites anyone interested to attend their meetings on Fridays between 2pm-4pm at Claremont Stadium.

One of their recent projects, a garden at Claremont Stadium, won a Pride of Place Award.

They would like to thank Birds Supervalu, Beechmount for their sponsorship.
