Tesco to open Dunshaughlin store
A Tesco Express store is to open in the Willows development in Dunshaughlin in the coming weeks.
Tesco will anchor the neighbourhood centre in the development and has confirmed that it will open its new store early next month with the creation of 13 new jobs.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We look forward to opening our new Dunshaughlin Express Store at The Willows in the first week of December. Store Manager Gerry Farrell will lead a team of 13 new colleagues."
Three other commercial units in the neighbourhood centre are also being offered for let by agents Hooke & MacDonald.
The Willows, a major new neighbourhood development by GEM Group comprises over 860 new homes and a purpose-built commercial centre.
The scheme will be anchored by Tesco, who are due to commence fit-out shortly, with the store to open early next month.
The new releases include one ground-floor retail unit and two fully fitted medical suites, all positioned prominently beside Tesco with shared surface parking and direct pedestrian access through the scheme.
The available units include a retail unit of approximately 120 sqm and two medical suites, each extending to approximately 252.5 sqm.
According to Hooke & MacDonald, the medical suites are ideally suited for GP practices, dental, physiotherapy, or specialist healthcare uses, offering lift access, high-quality finishes, and immediate readiness for operation.
The retail unit benefits from strong visibility beside Tesco and is suited to convenience retail, pharmacy, café, or service retail operators seeking exposure to a large and growing residential catchment.
“The Willows represents a fantastic opportunity for retail and medical occupiers to establish themselves in one of Meath’s fastest-growing towns. With Tesco commencing fit-out and over 860 homes on-site, this new commercial centre will quickly become the focal point of daily life in the area,” said Conor Steen, Associate Director at Hooke & MacDonald.
