Farm Hazardous Waste collections come to Meath this month
As a recommendation of the National Hazardous Waste Management Plan 2021-2027, Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment are facilitating six Farm Hazardous Waste collections to take place during November and December 2025.
The locations for the 2025 collections include Meath, Clare, Cork, Tipperary, Mayo and Kerry.
The collections follow the successful trial of farm hazardous waste collection days which took place in Wexford, Laois and Offaly in autumn of 2024.
The services of a waste management company have been procured to manage the collection, removal and disposal of the waste.
Farmers who avail of the service will pay a fee directly to the waste management company for the service.
The collection for Meath will take place at Fairyhouse Racecourse, Fairyhouse, Ratoath, on Thursday 20th November from 9am to 4pm.
