Four Meath players receive Allstar awards

Meath's achievement in reaching the All-Ireland SFC final in 2025 was recognised in the way four players from the Royal County won Allstar awards at last night's banquet in the Bonnington Dublin Hotel.

Robyn Murray, Mark Kate Lynch, Aoibhin Cleary and Niamh Gallogly were all included in the TG4 Ladies Football All-Star team. It's a wonderful achievement by the four players and an indication of just how influential they were throughout the year for the Royal County.

In all 10 Meath players were nominated for the awards including Aine Sheridan, Emma Duggan, Sarah Wall, Marion Farrelly, Ciara Smyth and Vikki Wall.

All-Ireland winners Dublin led the way with seven.

While Cleary and Lynch have been honoured in the past this is the first Allstar for Murray and Gallogly.

Meath were defeated 2-16 to 0-10 in the All-Ireland SFC final.
