Plans in for gaelscoil extension

Plans for a two-storey extension to Gaelscoil na Rithe in Dunshaughlin have been lodged with Meath County Council.

The school's board of management recently submitted a planning application for a two storey extension of 950.4 sqm to the existing school (1072.6 sqm plus temporary accommodation of 253.3 sqm) as well as minor alterations to existing school and the part removal of existing temporary accommodation (196.4 sqm).

The extension will include a include one replacement classroom, two new classrooms, toilets and new Special Education Needs (SEN) accommodation to include a central activities space, two class safe bases and toilets.

External works will include a new layout to existing car park and play areas.
