What’s the best business advice you’ve ever been given?

I’ve always stayed true to a quote given by the legendary Judge Judy: “The most important thing in life is to find what you’re strongest at. The second most important thing is to find a way to make a living from it.” That’s been a game changer for An Gobha.

What does the future hold for your business?

The future is incredibly bright with scope and employment opportunity in the pipeline at the forge of An Gobha. A high level business plan is in development at present that will ultimately lay out a roadmap highlighting milestones and creating a totally new and exciting immersive experience in Ireland’s Ancient East.

Uniting the generations through music, dance and theatre and crafts

Siamsa Glas

Tell us about your business and team

Siamsa Glass has just held its 2nd annual festival in September 2025. It was another successful event for the Siamsa Glas community and committee which had some great new events in the line-up this year with more local businesses coming on board and benefiting from the festival. Once again, the Baile Ghib Gaeltacht area and its rich history and culture were celebrated along with exploring the Lakelands Greenway with many events taking place along its trail. Communities and villages along the route were linked and enjoyed new visitors and exciting events and activities with organisers and participants alike feeling very lucky to be part of such an amazing place to explore, exercise on and learn how to make it their own.
