11 men arrested on foot of international arrest warrants
A number of men have been arrested in Meath on foot of international arrest warrants this week.
From 3rd to 5th of November 2025, Gardaí carried out three days of action targeting persons sought for serious crimes in other jurisdictions.
This resulted in the arrest of 11 males across four counties including Meath. The other arrests were made in Dublin, Cavan and Monaghan.
These days of action were led by the Garda Extradition Unit with support from members attached to other sections of the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 11 men who have been brought before the High Court for offences including attempted murder, supply of drugs, kidnapping, facilitation of illegal immigration, human trafficking, theft and road traffic offences that were committed in other jurisdictions including Northern Ireland, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Germany and Lithuania.
As these matters are currently remanded before the High Court An Garda Síochána said it is making no further comment.
