Second Slane Castle date added for Luke Combs amid soaring demand

A second Slane Castle date has been added for American country music star Luke Combs, who will now perform two back-to-back concerts at the iconic venue on 18th and 19th July 2026.

The move comes following overwhelming demand, despite tickets for the first night not yet going on general release.

The double-header marks a rare two-night run for a headliner at Slane and cements Combs’ place among a select group of global acts to lead the bill at the legendary Meath venue.

Both performances will be part of Combs’ international My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which will visit eight countries and feature new material alongside his chart-topping hits. He will be joined on stage by The Script, Ty Myers, and The Castellows, offering fans a full day of country and pop-rock on the banks of the River Boyne.

The announcement has sparked both excitement and debate, with fans divided over the booking of a country artist at a venue long associated with rock legends like U2, Queen, and The Rolling Stones. While some welcomed the fresh direction, others were surprised by the departure from Slane’s traditional genre focus.

“This year has been awesome,” said Combs. “We’ve gotten to play some of the most iconic festivals in the world and promote country music in ways that it normally isn’t.

"That said, while the festivals are awesome, there’s nothing like a headline show on a full tour with all of my fans. It’s hard to beat. I can’t wait for March 2026 for the My Kinda Saturday Night Tour. We’re going to eight different countries, bringing along a ton of great support, and by then will have a lot of new music to play.”

Combs’ career continues to hit record-breaking heights. He recently became the highest-certified country artist in RIAA history, overtaking Garth Brooks with 168 million units sold. He’s also the first country star to headline both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and the first to have two tracks reach over one billion streams on Spotify. Four of his singles are now certified RIAA Diamond.
