Meet Barry ‘Ed’ Sheerin (left), the school’s long-serving caretaker and an indispensable member of the Castletown NS team.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Barry. Whether it’s installing shelving, creating outdoor resources, fixing plumbing issues, or handling electrical repairs, Barry can do it all. His dedication and hard work keep the school running smoothly, and the staff know that without him, daily life at the school simply wouldn’t function.

A true all-rounder, Barry is not just a caretaker, he’s a vital part of the school community and deeply valued by everyone at Castletown NS.
