Meath sister acting duo to release new online mini-series this weekend

Two sisters from Meath are set to release an online mini-series this Sunday, with teasers of local Meath landmarks and backgrounds to be spotted in the background of the show.

Rebecca and Fiona Ryan, who grew up just outside of Dunboyne, have a long history in the acting world, from studying at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin to acting in Showtime's series 'The Tudors' together.

Now that they are both back in Ireland, they decided to sit down and create their latest venture, an eight-part online mini-series called 'Motherhustle'.

The series, which will be available on the Motherhustle Instagram and YouTube, is a minute long per episode series, combining television acting with the rapidity of social media.

The show focuses on the ups and downs of motherhood and sisterhood, and uses comedy to deal with real, relatable issues, with episodes filmed in Meath and other parts of Ireland, and some episodes even featuring the sisters in London.

Rebecca has gained a huge following of over 500,000 followers on TikTok and over 180,000 followers on Instagram over the last number of years, where she creates videos relating to the trials and tribulations of motherhood in a light-hearted way.

Motherhustle launches on Sunday 7th September at 8pm on YouTube Shorts and Instagram with each new episode out every Sunday.

The Motherhustle YouTube Channel can be found here and their Instagram here.
