Splash of colour in Dunboyne with A-Team Arch Club's annual colour run

The Dunboyne A-Team’s annual colour run is set to take place at St.Peter’s GAA Club on Sunday 7th September.

This will feature a 3km run or walk with participants of all fitness levels and ages being welcome. As people go through the course they will be showered with a rainbow of colours.

Dunsboyne A-Team Arch Club said those participating are encouraged to dress in white to “fully embrace the colourful transformation that awaits.”

The A-Team Arch Club is specifically designed for autistic children and their siblings aged between 4 and 10 years old. They offer a safe and supportive environment where children can enhance their social and interpersonal skills, acquire practical real-world abilities, forge new friendships, and have fun while they’re at it.

Check-in starts at 1pm with the run beginning at 2pm and continuing until 5pm Registration costs €10, which closes at the check-in time, and booking includes one bag of colour with additional colour bags available for purchase at checkout.

Local Councillor Caroline O’Reilly said on Facebook “Last year’s event was a HUGE success, raising funds that allowed the club to expand their brilliant work with members and families. This year promises to be even bigger and better – a fantastic family fun day for a fantastic cause.
