Ratoath couple went up a very big hill for Jack and Jill

Ratoath couple Lauren Fox and Harry Bailey recently conquered Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, raising an incredible €6,780 for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.

Passionate about setting themselves personal challenges, Lauren and Harry, who have both previously run half marathons, took on the climb to raise funds for the nationwide charity which provides vital in-home nursing care and respite support for families caring for children with severe learning disabilities, often linked to complex medical needs.

They were thrilled to present their fundraising total, which will help fund approximately 376 hours of essential in-home nursing care for families under Jack and Jill’s wing. The charity currently supports 451 children across Ireland, including 14 in County Meath, giving families the gift of time, reassurance and care where it is most needed.
