Rathkenny overturned a first-half deficit to come away from their clash with St Peter’s in the JAFC Div 2. The first-half was largely uneventful and the visitors, St Peter’s, led at the interval, 0-6 to 0-5. Rathkenny were very strong in the third quarter. Goals from Joey Curtis and Daniel Gavagan in that period proved to be crucial to the men in red and black.

Ballinlough 3-9

Duleek Bellewstown had a slender victory over Ballinlough in the JAFC Div 2. Ballinlough were goal hungry in the first-half and netfinders from Shane Lynch, James Casserly and Joey Farrelly handed the home side a 3-2 to 0-10 lead at the break. The Lough were less clinical in the second-half as Duleek-Bellewstown kept chipping away at the scoreboard and eventually took the spoils.
