Dunboyne musicians launch new single in aid of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie charity

Musician Mick Rochford from Dunboyne and his sons Darragh and Jamie launched their new single ‘War child’ on Spotify today in aid of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie charity.

This is Mick’s second song released for the charity following a previous Christmas single and it is dedicated to the lives of children lost through wars around the world.

Mick Rochford is the CEO and co-founder of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, a charity that supports families with a childhood cancer diagnosis. It was founded in 2010 following the death of the other co-founder Jimmy Norman’s daughter Aoibheann from a rare type of cancer. Mick has also suffered the loss of his daughter Saoirse.
