Traffic restrictions in place in Navan to facilitate Meath Ladies homecoming
Meath LGFA will host a reception for the Meath Senior Ladies Football Team on the evening of Sunday, 3rd August, at the Ardboyne Hotel in Navan, following the All-Ireland final against Dublin.
To facilitate the large crowd that is expected to gather in the environs of the hotel to welcome the team home, the following temporary diversions will be in place from 7pm to 10pm.
A: Martha's Bridge
Eastbound traffic will divert up Bóthar Sion and continue east using Metges Road via routes D and C on the map.
B: Kilcarn Roundabout
Westbound traffic (emerging from M3, Cannistown or from the R147) will be diverted back to the Metges Road and onto routes, C, D and E on the map, where they can enter Navan via the Kentstown Road.
D: Supervalu Junction
All Navan-bound traffic emerging from Johnstown (local) will be diverted from Bóthar Sion onto and through route D on the map towards the Kentstown Road (E on the map).
X: Swan Lane
All residents of Swan Lane (X on the map) will ONLY be able to travel eastward to the Kilcarn Junction where they can then follow the above diversion routes.
Please follow the directions of An Garda Síochána who will be in attendance. If you have any queries, please contact Meath LGFA.
