CYCLING

Bohermeen CC:Adult evening spins (18+) on Tuesdays, 6.45pm from Bohermeen Community Centre. Youth spins (9+) will continue on Thursdays, at 7pm, from Bohermeen Community Centre. Navan RC: Navan Road Club will hold their annual Mountnugent Grand Prix cycle race on Saturday 2nd August, 7pm. Local organizers Joe Moynagh and Raef McEnroe will once again use a local circuit for three 10 mile laps with prizes on each lap. Cyclist from all over the country are expected to take part in this popular event, with all grades catered for. The winner of the senior race will receive the Henry Morgan Ahern Cup. Sign on for cyclist is at the Bridge Inn. Presentation of prizes will take place in The Bridge Inn.

HER Outdoors Week returns from 11th – 17th August. We will be hosting some fabulous events for women and girls to showcase activities in the outdoors. HER Outdoors week aims to celebrate and encourage more females to get out and enjoy the benefits of being in the outdoors while bringing visibility to the opportunities for females to get involved in outdoor physical activity. Inclusive Summer Camps - Inclusive Multi-sport Summer Camps suitable for children with additional needs. The camps will take place outdoors over two days and will see a variety of sports and activities take place including GAA, Soccer, Badminton, Hockey & Basketball. We encourage participants’ siblings to join in the activities also. All parents will be asked to remain for the duration of each day.
