Plan to construct 10 homes in Carlanstown

A proposal to demolish a vacant house on the N52 in Carlanstown village and construct ten houses on the site is currently being considered by Meath County Council.

SBS Building Projects Ltd is seeking permission for the demolition of an existing dwelling and outbuildings as well as the construction of 10 two storey semi-detached dwellings, with an entrance onto public roadway, service road, connection to existing services, and associated site development works at Carlanstown, Kells.

The 0.62 hectare site contains an existing vacant dwelling, and four smaller outbuildings to the rear of the dwelling which were used for agricultural purposes.

The site is currently vacant but is zoned for A1 Existing Residential purposes in the Meath County Development Plan.
