‘Concert and Conversation’ in Ashbourne Library

The Meath arts scene will be treated to a unique evening of music and storytelling as Cathy McEvoy & Friends take to the stage at Ashbourne Library on Tuesday 29th July from 7pm. This special 'Concert and Conversation' event invites audiences into the heart of the creative process, combining live performance with behind-the-scenes insight from some of Ireland’s finest musicians.

A celebrated composer, violinist, and vocalist, Cathy McEvoy will be joined by an exceptional ensemble, comprised of Padraig Kilbride (piano), Brian Tavey (guitar and percussion), and Paddy Joyce (bass guitar). Together, they will reimagine familiar songs, share original compositions, and discuss the inspirations and processes that drive their work. Expect a blend of rich musicality and warm, engaging conversation in an intimate setting. The hour-long event is free to attend, but booking is recommended due to limited space. Tickets can be booked at (01) 835 8185.
