No pulling the wool over young entrepreneurs eyes as fans flock to buy their Royal headbands

Entrepreneurial siblings Bodhi (9), Róise (7) and Zoey (5) Cox from Ratoath have been flat out making headbands ahead of Sunday's big game.

They opened a pop-up shop outside their home in Stonebridge yesterday evening and were quickly sold out so the trio spent today making more to keep up with the demand.

All three siblings are GAA mad and play football with their local Ratoath GAA club. They are hugely excited that Meath are in the All-Ireland semi-final and will be going to Croke Park with parents Debbie and Michael on Sunday.

Mum Debbie said they go to all the matches and were in Pairc Tailteann for the Meath ladies match last weekend and were in Croke Park for the Royal's win against Galway the week before.

She told how they were trying to think of some arts and crafts ideas to keep them busy during the school holidays and the kids came up with the idea of making headbands rather than buying them at the match.

"They made a few and went out on the road last night. They had made about 30 and they all sold out. Then our neighbours what's app started going and people started putting in orders as well.

"They are flat out all day making them to meet their orders and will be opening their little shop again this evening at 7.30pm for their next launch," said Debbie.

"A couple of people even drove up from the other estates to buy them. There was a big buzz and a big queue at one stage, it was so funny. "

With the orders flying in, they had to make a dash to Blanchardstown this morning to get more wool supplies to keep on top of the orders.

The Cox siblings are hoping their headbands will bring the Royals good luck.

"The kids are saying these are lucky headbands because they are handmade and they are all a little bit different! Each one is unique," said Debbie.
