Oisin Leech's 'Caravan Radio' rolls back in for summer
RTÉ Radio music show to run for 13 weeks
From tonight (Wednesday) Navan songwriter Oisin Leech will present 'Caravan Radio' on RTE Radio 1 where he will dig deep into his record collection to curate 60 minutes of music each week for the summer, in between performances at Glastonbury and Galway International Arts Festival.
The new series begins tonight (Wednesday) 18th June at 10pm.
Tonight’s show will feature music from Woody Guthrie, Count Basie and Frank Harte, also there's a tip of the hat to Paul McCartney who turns 83 today, plus there's a song request in from Sheffield songwriter Richard Hawley.
Oisin, who received widespread acclaim for his recent solo album ‘Cold Sea’, sets off on an expedition sharing his love of music and words in its many forms across the genres - all aboard for the creative road less travelled!
